Asus claims battery is not user replaceable. Buy a case splitting tool set, work slowly and carefully, and once the case is open you will find a single screw securing the battery to the mainboard. There are Youtube install videos to help. No solder gun needed! Has successfully charged and discharged with good running time for a number of weeks now.
