Don’t really know how long this new battery will last. But the one it replaced in my computer lasted five years and this replacement is identical. Fit perfectly.

I'm still hoping this is the right battery. While Dell doesn't sell the battery they warned me to only buy a Dell brand (which I could not find). This retailer seems to fully understand batteries, thus my order.
